Rental Properties In Or Around The Caribou Area
Since I'll finally be joining my wife in the Caribou area, does anyone have advice on rental property ? Until the house here (KC,MO) sells we'll have to rent something. I prefer a house but if we have to get an apartment I will. I just HATE apartment living, I always seem to get in the building with the loud radio at all house or noisy kids.
If anyone has suggestions or know of any good rental properties it would be appreciated. I tried a link I found in the forms for a news paper up there but can't seem to find any kind of classifieds on it.
Thanks In Advance If you prefer to contact me thru PMs here that's fine.

I'd be willing to bet that MOST of the rental properties in Caribou are single family units. Ever been to Caribou? You may be in for a surprize!

Been there a few times. That's why we chose it when we were told the different cities my wife's job would transfer her to. She's been there since Sept. 08 and so far loves it. I was born and raised in a small town in Central NY so it's no surprise to me. I hate cities, only reason I ended up in KC was the wife lived there and she said there was no way she was moving to NY. She was born and raised in St. Louis.
I prefer a single family house over apartments or multi-family dwellings, I hate crowds lol.

Good glad you know the area. It's pretty low key up there. We spent a couple of weeks in the Finger Lakes region of New York last summer and thought it was a lovely place.

I lived on Oneida Lake or Lake Oneida depending where you live just before I move to KC. One of the best lakes in the country for walleye fishing. I miss fishing, haven't fished since I moved down here 14 years ago. There are a lot of beautiful lakes, river and streams in NY. Most don't know about them because they think all NY is is NYC and Upstate. I hate that term Upstate, there's alot more to NY than NYC and Upstate. That's like saying there's nothing north of Portland. If you haven't, visit the Adirondacks sometime, nice scenery there and a few tourist trap towns dot it.
