Sometimes dreams do come true...
We did it! We're officially Maine home owners! Closing went smooth as can be yesterday. We're in the middle of unpacking, and we couldn't be happier! The house is just right for us, and the location is amazing. (Didn't get much sleep last night. Our cat was very upset about moving once again, and he meowed all through the night. I tried to lock him in a room, but could hear him scratching, so that didn't help. He's zonked out now. Hopefully tonight will go better! I'm sure it's an adjustment for him too...)
We don't have internet yet, so I'm at the beautiful Camden library right now. This library has got to have the most beautiful view of any library in the country. Amazing!
Anyway, just taking a short break from unpacking. Thanks to all of you who answered my questions throughout the years. Couldn't have done it with out you!   |

Congratulations. Sounds like you're very happy.
I'm moving to Maine next month and my two cats will have to drive 3100 miles with me. I was told to try Feli-Away to mellow them out during the trip (although I'm not into any drugs and medications). It's supposed to make cats happy. Maybe that's what your kitty needs until he adjusts to his new home.

Congratulations, most closings in Maine are very smooth once you get there. It's getting from the offer to the closing that is becoming more and more challenging these days. Cats do not move well, it will take some time and lots of attention. Once again, welcome.
