work in cambridge (Pittsfield: job market, restaurants, moving to)

i am thinking about moving to cambridge and would like to know what the job market consists of in the local area. i know jobs are hard to find ant where these days,but generally speaking...convienience stores,restaurants,etc???? thanks for any info.

If you're talking Cambridge, Maine...there's a factory there sited on a 3 acre cornfield that makes the most adorable purses. Erda Leather - Leather and Fabric Handbags, Footstools and Journals Trouble is, the closest town with restaurants, stores, conveniences is about 10 miles away.

And in the town, 10 miles away, you will be competing with the 300 or so bodies that have been laid off the last year!

Cianbro Corp is located not that far away in Pittsfield, and within a thirty mile radius there are a number of larger towns with a few, but good jobs if you have some qualifications
