Plans for Labor Day Weekend!
Well it wasn't the best of summers weather wise though the last few weeks were nice. We'll see the summer off with some steamed clams and delmonico steaks and possibly an adult beverage or two.
What will you be doing?

Neighbor's funeral this morning. Same neighbor's family get together this afternoon. Barbeque at the old farmhouse tomorrow. Monday I'll be laboring to watch sports on TV. Maybe go to the Harmony Free Fair for a while.

I'll be stuck on Cape Cod. I don't know about up there, but down here it's absolutely packed with tourists. A friend and I went to have dinner last night at one of our favorite places and it was wall to wall people with an hour to an hour and fifteen minute wait. We decided to go to another place, they had a half hour wait. Now it was 8:20, so we headed back over to my town and tried a 3rd.... they had a half hour wait, we ended up at a fourth place in my town and there we stayed as it was a 15 minute wait and they had two jazz players we're friends with playing in the lounge/dining area. Ended up a great choice as it's authentic italian and I had a lamb shank and cheese risotto that was to die for.
Monday, other friends and I will have a few cocktails and a small bbq. I'm looking forward to it.
But I still wish I was in Maine!!!!
Leaving Tuesday for a 3 day class in Louisville, so it will be mid-month before I'm back in Belfast. Then I hope to spend the remaining fall season of the campground there.

I'm starting the weekend holiday by following WVU and Marshall football - tomorrow, I'll start cleaning the house and beginning to collect stuff to get ready to head back to WV in a couple of weeks. Monday I plan to spend the day watching the NCIS marathon on TV. Exciting, huh?

NCIS is my favorite show! I love Ziva David! We'll be taking in the free concert tomorrow night at LL Bean. Asleep At The Wheel (good ol' Texas swing) should be fun. There is Celtic group there tonight...if you're in the area the price can't be beat!
