You can tell which side of the Mason Dixon line forest grew up on. He doesn't even know enough top put ALL the road kill into one pot!
By the way, Tim, if you're comin' up this a-way, could ya brang me some decent cornmeal? I cain't find none 'roun these parts that worth a durn to make corn bread. (Only you Yanks call it a "pone.")

Seriously, anybody that's coming this way, if you can bring me bag of Aunt Jemima or White Lily or Martha White, I would really appreciate it. Hubby and I are starvin' to death without our cornbread. (Hubby's from the midwest, but I got him trained on the right kind of food real fast. Wasn't hard. He knows good food when he tastes it.)

LOL

I grew up on the extreme left-side of that line. Say 3,000 miles to the left or West that is.

Glad you got back safe and sound. Introduce some W.V. friends to Poutine, bet they'll love it. Hurry home here in the spring.

Bring cornmeal!!!!!--preferably white, self rising, (no, I'm not that lazy-the self rising has the right balance of everything) White Lily, Aunt Jemima, Martha White, I don't care! If it wasn't for RHB who sent me two bags, I would already have starved to death! I'll even make some to go with forest's stew.

Wow, that's one thing I hadn't considered.............no cornmeal? I've always used plain yellow though, not self-rising. Is it really better? I'll have to give it a try.

So there is no plain cornmeal either??????? I might be in trouble.......I hear Amazon ships groceries, right? I couldn't do without cornbread!!!!!!
