It is very near to where we live. I have attended fraternity meetings there, to me folks in LeGrange seem friendly.
It is not a big thriving metro-center. Living there your focus would mostly be on Bangor or Milo for shopping and stuff.

The people always seemed to be nice. Very few killings.
Things to do would be walks in the woods/fields and walks along the old railroad tracks. Does it still have the one store, Bruces Market?

It's Lagrange not Legrange. My friend has land there. He does not live there if that will tell you anything. Not much there.
ZZ Top wrote a song about it. "Rumors spreading 'round in that North Maine Town 'bout the shack outside Lagrange, Just lemme know if you wanna go to that home out on the range.......they got a lotta nice girls up there !!!!!!! Guitar break

My uncle lives in Lagrange and my father is buried in a cemetary there. The population is less than 1000 people. Good prices on homes there. It's a relatively quiet place and you would likely need to invent things to do there if you are looking for entertainment.

Great place for an outdoor family or somebody looking to be self sufficient.

There isn't much in LaGrange. It's midway between Milo, which hasn't much more than a small grocery store for shopping, and Old Town.
