Default Big E Fair

We wen't to the Big E fair in Springfield Mass last weekend. It is one of the 10 largest fairs in the country. They have the Avenue of States and there are replicas of each New England state's original statehouse sitting on land actually owned by that state. I was surprised to find lobster rolls inside the Mass. building. They had baked potatoes in the Maine building and it was the biggest line there. My favorite had to be the whoopie pie booth also in the Maine buidling. I have hear about the big E for years and finally made the trek. It was well worth it. It is located close to six flags New England. Still can't wait for the Fryeburgh Fair though!

Sounds like fun I like out of state fairs. It's interesting to see how other places "do" fairs. We stopped by one in Western NY last year and you would have thought you were in Maine.
