Will this move be before or after you move to Spearfish/Rapid City South Dakota?

Well we have decided the same thing and looking for acres near a small town (kind of like Mayberry USA..lol) but not to far to travel to a larger city to shop, pick up supplies or see a movie, show etc....and hospital / doctors (hopefully the town will have a great down home doctor).

I am guessing he is just interested in Learning about a bunch of different places to then make a final decision...Of course he could have just said "we are considering"..
Well, either way here it goes.
In my own opinion Maine offer's many different lifestyles that can fit many different needs. If I were limiting my focus to the Portland area it would be because I want access to employment, 3 major airports (Jetport, Manchester, Boston Logan) and could get flights anywhere in the world. Maybe I just want a change from where I live but don't want to be culture shocked and still have access to nature... (Portland Maine offers the best suburban and metropolitan life available in Maine). Maybe I want to be near the ocean or have access to Boston ma, Southern NH, ect...
so I am guessing at least some of these needs suit you.. If that’s the case and Portland Maine is an option I would 1st consider living IN Portland.. a very livable city you can still find quiet neighborhoods and decent schools in the city... Other than that my personal choices are Cape Elizabeth, Yarmouth, Cumberland, Falmouth, Scarborough, and Gorham...good luck!
