Hi all!

Looking for a place to country line dance. I'm 15 minutes north of Augusta and the only place I've found so far is Hafford's by 95 in Waterville and that's only on Wednesday nights. Anyone know of any other places? I heard of Coyote Country in Oakland on KMD but can't seem to find a website for it.

I'm not into the drinking/drug/bar fight scene. Just want a place to go line dance and stomp the hardwood floor.

Thanks in advance!

Hi there,

Harmony Hall in N. Yarmouth ( Sat nights only), there's also a place down in Sanford, sorry can't remember the name. In Lewiston you'll find a county line dance club, sorry their name escapes me, there is also a country bar in Lewiston. There's another line dance club in Woolwich called Silver Fox's. They dance all over.
Check your local free newspaper... or the KJ, I'm pretty sure there are still a few places to go slap leather!

Friday night is line dancing night at the Maplewood Dance Center on Warren Ave. in Portland. Club Texas may be what Mermaid was thinking of in Auburn. Many of the little pubs in Portland have nights that play mostly (or only) country music.

in Maine the country line dance means some thing else.
definition of country line dance is being pulled over by the cops in the middle of no where
and given a sobriety test (can you walk on the white/yellow line for me please)hence line dance.
there have been allot of people do the country line dance in Maine over the years.
