Default Dog friendly in Augusta area

Hello! New here, and new to Hallowell too.

I have a crazy greyhound and I've trying to get an idea of dog-friendly places. I go to a laundrymat that's a bit out of the way because they let her in!

I live in an apartment, and I really need to find a fenced in area for her to run, without driving all the way to portland to the dog park. It's true that greyhounds don't need to run, but they still have a lot of fun doing it. I've found a fenced in ball field in Gardiner but I always feel like I trespassing there!

Any thoughts would be appreciated!

Default Dog park Augusta area

Have you had any luck finding a fenced dog park? We have a hound who needs to run and is not reliable off lead to return to us. Was hoping you have an idea. Thanks

Default Dog friendly Belfast

I live in Belfast, Maine. I work in Augusta. The one major thing that keeps me from moving closer to work is the Belfast Dog park. It is 43 miles from Belfast to Augusta. But that dog park is a blessing. Not only does my dog ge to run off lead in a safe environment, but I meet the nicest people there.

i live in the gardiner area and "rescued" a greyhound ..had her for 14 yrs,,,a great dog,, had two at one time,,,
i use to take her runing.... to the little-league ball-park in hallowell, you can get there many ways,,from hallowell,,,take the hallowell-litchfield road ..go past rollins furniture (on your left) and you will come to a four corners,,take a right,,,about a quarter mile on the right hand side, is the field,,
its enclosed by a fence,,,,and the dogs loved it,,
