I dont know anything about Anson, but we're moving near Auburn in about 2 weeks from Atlantic City. As far as my research shows, the only place in that area you might want to avoid is Lewiston, look it up and see for yourself. On another thread I said that a bad part of Maine is a million times better than a bad part of New Jersey, just look at the stats. The town we're moving to has less than 3000 residents, and the one school has under 300 students K-8. I had no plans to send my daughter to school while living here, up until this point she's been homeschooled. I dont know where in NJ youre from, but everyone knows about Atlantic City. While our section is safe, we're surrounded by a **** war zone. I can't wait to get away from here. godd luck to your family, I hope you find what you're looking for!

Oh, great. This person is a nut. I was on my homestate's board and apparently she wants to relocate there too, as well as 20 other states.

To be fair, she may just be desperate to get out of Jersey and is researching possible destinations. It may make her undecided, sure, but hardly a nut.

I am from Auburn Maine. I am very happy with the school system. I have three children, one in elementry, one in middle school, and one in high school. All three of my children started at Sherwood Heights and I am crazy about that school. The staff is awesome. They teach core values of compassion, respect, and honesty. I can honestly tell all the schools here are great. I hope this helps
