I prefer dark meat otherwise. Same reason, juicier and more taste IMHO altho I do like white meat with mayo for sandwiches.

This poll seems to be running much closer than the tater tot poll did.
Nothing like a good turkey sandwich with a little stuffing, mayo, salt and pepper on home made bread!
I'd rather have THAT than the entire meal!

Same here!

I am a white turkey fan, I absolutely hate the dark meat and give it all away to my brother in law after Thanksgiving!

Turkey's are cheap this week! I found a 26.75 pound one for only $12.59! It's the biggest one I could find! The stores had hundreds of them. I'm going to pick up a couple of small ones to stick in the freezer for winter.

I like all that plus cranberry sauce. Miracle Whip preferred though.

I like either Miracle Whip or mayonnaise on sliced turkey. I'd rather have miracle whip on a bologna sandwich but like real mayo with tuna and chicken or turkey salad. I have to have real mayo on lobster rolls too.
There is a store in North Pownal aptly named North Pownal General Store. They make a great turkey salad sandwich which features sliced cranberries, walnuts, and real mayo on a sub roll...it's excellent!

I usually eat both, but I go for the white meat first.

Dark to start while it's hot. Snack later on white. In sandwiches, a mix of dark and white meat with light mayo and swiss cheese.

I just have to make sure I eat a couple pepsid pills on turkey day. With that and pies and date squares, I could have a potential heartburn nightmare if I'm not careful.

Me too, but I really like throwing all of the leftovers ('cept the cranberry sauce - serve that on the side) into a pie crust and baking it into a golden brown.

Of course, my waistline and cholesterol level frowns on that but to H with them I say this time of year.

Happy Thanksgiving all!
