I just have to make sure I eat a couple pepsid pills on turkey day. With that and pies and date squares, I could have a potential heartburn nightmare if I'm not careful.
Ayuh. Prilosec OTC for me that day. The sage in the Bell's seasoning kills my tummy.

Me too w/ the Rx and it's 40 mg too! However, I wish I could say I've had no GERD for 3 years. Blech!

I love Miracle Whip on my turkey sandwiches!

Also tossing all leftovers in a pie crust is delish too, and then topping it w/ left over gravy! Nom nom nom!

I do get the reflux but it's tame. If I eat fried food after 8:00 at night I end up in a chair until 3:00 AM. It isn't heartburn but it isn't pleasant either. Hiatal hernia. I've learned how to control it. Years ago if I ate a piece of toast with butter on it for breakfast I'd have to eat half a package of Rolaids. The acid reducers have literally been a lifesaver for me.

Had that for years too. Currently paying out of pocket for perscriptions and the price of omeziprole via perscription vs OTC is amazing!! lol (About $100 difference!!!)
