Happy thanksgiving to everyone! I miss my other children, but they will be here next month. They are driving up on the 24th with my grandson and staying a week with us.

It is kind of sad for me today, so many memories of past Thanksgivings with my family. My grandma passed in 94 and I miss the wonderful dinners she used to prepare. Miss my mom who is in SC, my daughters, and little grand, and I miss my fiancee who passed away in Sept 08. Feeling a little lonesome. But I am also thankful I am here in this beautiful place, that I have peace, my 2 sons, and a dinner together. Thankful for the sun shining through my window, for friends here and elsewhere, thankful to God for all His blessings.

I hope all those in need, man or animal, will have a meal and place to sleep, and will experience kindness from others today and everyday. There are so many in this world who are alone, cold, hungry, and without shelter. I am thankful for having these things for myself and family and I pray that the ones who have less will be blessed.

Have a blessed day everyone

V

Thankful that I am still taking breath! Thankful for a roof over my head, a good meal, and the pleasant companionship of my husband and pooch.
May all be blessed with a day of peace, without want, and in good company. Happy holiday to all.

Posting from my nieces iPod Touch, hope every one of my fellow Mainers has a wonderful holiday! Can't access my computer at the moment, since we have tons of company and chairs are in the way to go downstairs. We're consuming our bird soon

Thanksgiving is the only holiday where it's okay to be a pig, so eat up!
