I would love to move to Maine. I currently live in south Louisiana where there are only two temperatures-hot and humid or cold and rainy-with a little mix up of the two. I need to see four seasons and can't wait until I graduate and make it up to Maine. Hopefully by 2015.
Northern Maine is one of the few places that I'm looking into moving to. I'd love to be there right now.
It's really nice up here. Especially if you like the outdoors. The scenery is beautiful and the people are nice. Plus it's really cheap.
Good luck with your move.
Altho I am looking now, hope to really look in Nov 2010 when I have some cash in hand. Want to pay for the property all in one fell swoop - not do the mortgage game. Am looking for a spare job to help accomplish this.
Will take an early retirement in 2015 and will be able to reshuffle some money then so 2015 at the latest.
