I hope this paragraph was not intended to demonstrate the "excellent" quality of Maine schools.

I think it indicates the level of competence from most graduates of the liberal indoctrination centers these days.

LOL, no, just a request for clarification. For all I know, he may have at one time scored in the 98th percentile on the Knowledge and Use of the English Language test, but now suffers from too many blows to the head with a heavy e. e. cummings volume.

Born and raised, between Houlton, Millinocket, and Bangor. Moved to Portland for work after college. I never would have believed it if I was told I would live in another state some day.

We've been here almost a year and don't regret the move in the least. There have been some hiccups along the way, but I'm still so glad we moved here.
So what's holding you back? Just the indecision? Just curious.
And congratulations on your preggo-ness!

I have lived in Maine my entire life, and am actually looking to move out towards Tennessee. I live in an economically deprived area where you have to travel almost an hour to find a decent job. It gets tough when your town and surrounding areas offer minimum wage and thats it. I would go with southern maine like Gray/New Glouster or Oakland. Gray is close to portland. Rather than living in Bangor, I would suggest Orono or Old Town since the commute is not bad to Bangor. The closer you live to Bangor or Portland the better.
