A work permit, is only for those under the age of 18 here in Ohio, but you may need to register with the Auditor's office. I'm sure in just a few some of the Maineahs will chime in.

If you don't have a green card from immigration you can not work in the US. Of course there are a lot of illegals that do it anyway.

Rental car and accommocation in Portland/Main
Dear Community, ok, the die has cast, or , alea iacta est...
we want to check out the area (Portland) in March/April and would welcome any advise for reasonable priced accommocation.... and rental car services....
the car will be needed starting in Boston... (Frankfurt-Boston flight) and accommodation in Portland only....
