We have white lights on the trees and shrubs out front - lots of them. It's so dark where we live that I'm not wanting to take any of it down. I'm usually wanting everything down in early January, but there are lots of restaurants and inns, etc., that use white lights to welcome people -- so unless one of my neighbors (we're a long way down a peninsula finger but we still have neighbors) says something negative -- I'm keeping them up for awhile. I've lived in Anchorage, AK yet for some reason, these short daylight days in Maine are getting to me. As for anything definitely Christmas -- that will be put away this weekend for sure. As for the white lights - they might be up until Easter!

Default Light Duty

'Light Duty' is not always a good thing! When temporary lighting is given permanent duty, safety becomes a concern. Perhaps a permanent form of 'mood' lighting outdoors should be considered....or at least replace them more often. Twinkle, twinkle little star..... I say let your lights so shine!
