Prentiss maine
Prentiss is an up and coming territory with many young retirees moving in and buying land to live a simpler life style. I have been heading up there for the past 30 years and the roads are great. The Springfield Fairgrounds host a small but well organized fair each Labor Day and the local churches are popular with support groups.You will find Danforth (Million Dollar Views) to the East about 14 miles away with an excellent Hardware Store, Convenience/Gas/Eatery and a Grocery Store for most of your needs. Seven miles away is Springfield to the South West and has an Irving/Convenience Store, local small eateries and a Post Office, School and Snow Mobile Club. Land is affordable with logging operations and Fishing/Hunting for the Outdoors-person. Moose are usually seen as well as Black Bear. This should be on your list to check out!
