Liebermans party turned their back on him because he wouldn't be a puppet and vote with the party. So he ran as a independent and won. I have never supported him here in CT, but he is able to think for himself and I might support him for it as long as he is not a tax and spend democrat.

First he was a dem, then an independant, now a wannabe rep. Lieberman is a whiny, self centered, attention bore. I still think he looks like Droopy with that petulant, pouty face. (imho)
There are an awful lot of "Blue-Dog Dem.'s", they don't always vote "with the party", they don't all play any side in the game just to get attention.
