I'm embarrassed to say- I haven't been to Lily's in quite a while. It it always so busy for lunch, and I just never think to go there for dinner.

I think Country View is finally done- I don't see that it's opening this yer at all. That's going to be weird without it.

Moody's on US 1 just south of Rockland. There are many great ice cream places along the coast. Beal's and Gifford's just to name a couple.

Actually, being a Gifford's/hard scoop kind of girl, I like Harbor Ice Cream over the soft-serve at Lodie's.

Looks like it's packed every night! I'll even forgive the stupid name (el el frijoles) if the food is good. We would also like to check out the Cockatoo on the Oceanville Road in Stonington (Cater's Clams)- it sounds like an experience! The woman who runs the Cockatoo (Suzen Carter) is also at Goose Cove Lodge this year, so I'll be interested to see how that works out. The Goose Cove Lodge debacle has been hard to watch, and I hope that the group that is opening the Lodge (at least the dining room, anyway) this season has some success there.
