But we don't have a fryolator so if you want to up your cholesterol you'll have to go elsewhere We do have great seafood, (but not lobster) souvlaki, spanokopita, stuffed grape leaves, and other traditional Greek & Italian dishes as well as the best pizza in town - with toppings that include feta, fresh basil, pine nuts and just about anything you can think of from the ordinary to the extraordinary!
I think it's time for a drive up to Lincoln!!

I think Cole Farms is a great addition to the list. My kids love the place and we like having family gatherings there. Great family atmosphere, great food at a great price and super nice people.

Not sure if I would go with every Amato's but the original one at the bottom of Munjoy Hill in Portland is darn good.

Unfortunately, they recently closed their Bangor (and only Maine, I believe) restaurant, along with a number of other locations. Here's more:

Saturday, May 5, 2007

Darden Restaurants, Inc. today announced the closure of 56 Smokey Bones Barbeque & Grill and two Rocky River Grillhouse restaurants. Darden will offer the remaining 73 Smokey Bones restaurants for sale – all located in the eastern half of the United States...

I still have the pic I took when we were there.

"Hot Suppa" on Congress street in Portland is my favorite place for breakfast in town. Yummy stuff!

I'll be ok...enough Rosie's and plenty of seafood. Smokey Bones may be the only way my friends and family can get me to come and visit once in a while.

We do need a few better sea-food restaurants, some good Mexican places, and a good BBQ restaurant. This area is really lacking in these types of eateries.
