Hey! I know we touched on this last year, but time is getting close and I do need a little more info on this outpatient clinic (there site is done) ...

Anyone here visited with the providers there? I know (and know) each clinic is different, so how is this one? I am 100% and too poor to pay exorbitant amounts for rip off insurance nor do I want to contribute to their million dollar bonuses

any first hand experiences?

again, THANKS for your time

Jolly,

I am a disabled vet and they pay for everything and anything I need(If you have private insurance, do not give them the information unless you want it billed). I use TOGUS in Augusta and am happy with the care I get. They will even pay for your mileage to drive down and see them.

Again, at 100% you will not pay a dime for anything, including dental if you are P & T.

THANKS!

Ugh, don't withhold third-party payer information. Otherwise you are holding back funding for the institution that will only go to providing you and other vets with better services. You will not be charged a co-pay from the third party insurance as the gov't waves that charge. The only thing you are helping to do by providing the insurance info is keeping the facility running in a fiscally responsible manner so that you can enjoy using the facility at your leisure. It doesn't negatively impact you in any way.

I hear what you are saying, but that is not the case. My health plan has a substantial medical savings account attached to it, and when the VA bills it, I lose money--dollar for dollar--that my family cannot use. That is not acceptable for my Sc disabilities.

I don't know much about Calais Center... I just know that I have a personal hurt about VA Care.
My Dad went to one and they sent him home (he needed in stay care for an accident. within 6 weeks he was dead. ( He fell and ruptured his liver) I feel he needed the care and they sent him home. 1wk before he died my step mother just said enoughs enough and she took him to the area's hospital ~ but it was just to late by then.
I know it's just one of those things, but ....
... sorry off topic.

You take care .. basically is what I mean and get the care you need~ at any cost. There's only ONE YOU!

p.s. Disabled Vets is one of 2 I donate on a regular bases for. (St Judes is my other)
