Mom called and said there was a bear in the backyard so I grabbed my camera, ran out the door, turned the corner and OH S**T!!! 20 feet from me was this bruin. So I ran behind my parents van and snapped a couple of pics before he ran off.

BTW, tried to rep you....but it says I have to spread it around...
I dunno what "rep you" means? Am I missing something important?

Probably.

see up in the right hand corner across from you name? see where it says reputation? that increases because people give you points, usually because they like your posts. If you look at the light blue bar across the page, about a quarter of the way down, on the left it says "my settings". If you click on that, it will show you how you got your rep points. If you want to give rep points to someone, you can click on the scales up on the top right hand border of the post....you can also click "rate this post positively", down near the lower left corner of the post. Check it out and see what you think!

Red face Hey, just me

Hello,
Sorry I had posted that kind of negative post on a couple of my Maine experiences... No insult or offense intended.
I found these forums just about a week or so ago and went right to the Ct. state forum, asking if anyone there could help me move back there from Maine. So then I posted very positively also in the Religious forum.
I was only being honest in my experiences on Maine and yes there have been some positive experiences here after all... I checked out the Maine forum looking for others who had similar expeiences or felt like me. That is all...
I'm not sure what constitutes a "troll", but I hope that if I post my experiences, even real negative ones, would that make me a "troll", ?
I felt bad for the person who posted from Bangor but skimming over other forums like Ct. I find negative reports in those States also.
I guess it all comes down to our personal interpretation of our experiences... It doesn't make Maine or any other state "bad".

Exclamation In response to Mollysmiles

Hi,
I also wanted to reply to your post that newly registered users don't say where they are from...
I'm from Connecticut and currently live in Aroostook County, Maine...
I don't type alot as I have partial paralysis in my rt. hand. So when i go to the forums on occasion I don't usually type much.
And it has not all been negative!
Take care,
Reticuli
