Hello,
Need some expert advice from the expert people out there..I got a job offer and planning to move to DC area..The work location is going to be Hyattsville,MD for a while and then it cud be some other location near DC.

I have a family with 6 yr old kid and dog..I wanted to know what all areas are the best places to settle down in or around Dc area..I am okay with staying on VA or MD side provided it is near the metro station.

Pls suggest me what areas are good for raising the family.I am looking to rent the apartment or townhouse (3 bd room)..

Thanks,
Ravi

when my husband and I first moved to the DC area, we lived in Brookland, its a nice family area but I don't know abou the school system as my daughter is older, this area is also close to Hyattsville and DC
