Hi,
I was wondering if anyone is familiar with Heritage Harbour, an active adult community in the Annapolis/Parole area?
I would like to know if the area is bicycle and pedestrian friendly. What are the traffic patterns like doing the day.

Basically, any information from someone who lives there or has family members living there would be greatly appreciated.

Hi, I'm not sure if you are relocating or not but if you live near the area or within driving distance you should try to drive through there to really get a feel. I know some people who live in the semi-detached rancher style homes and they really enjoy it. Their house backs to woods and while they are on one of the travel route roads in the community, they have a longer driveway off of it and don't have to worry about anything. There are sidewalks in the community so I'd imagine it would offer you what you're looking for, in regards to walking.

Thanks AlicynD, yes I am relocating and have not had the opportunity to visit the area to date. My present town is not very pedestrian friendly and those who would like to walk or ride a bike are looked upon as a nuisance. In my retirement I look forward to walking to a store or riding my trike in peace.

Movin - it is quite a large community and probably has what you are looking for. Have you gone on the Heritage Harbour website at all?

Default california style homes real nice community

I do not live in community, but I witness it from the ground up. You could not do much better. I beleive it has everything you could asked for. Golf, paths, wooded areas, close to everything but still retains privacy. Plus the other communities nearby are really nice and private. You should check it out. P.S. I should check it out.....
