Wow, Crofton just ranked as the 72nd best place to live in the US. Nice to see my little piece of the world recognized
After getting frustrated with MD politics, etc and looking for a better place to live, I finally came to the conclusion that this is home for me. Love the proximity to Annapolis, DC and yeah, I do enjoy Baltimore. Not perfect by any means, but perfect for me. Anyway, I saw some other MD towns mentioned, too. I think they were Eldersburg and Elkridge. |

I lived in Crofton back in the early 80s and thought it was a great place back then. There was a cow farm just off Ridell road which of course is a subdivision now but thats progress.I remember when route 50 was a two lane highway. My god I must be getting old.

i lived in crofton late 70`s, mom still lives there. it has grown so much, but still doesnt feel like big city living
