Which project is in better position to get federal funding? The CCT will service the new 900 acre "Life Science City" in Gaithersburg which will add 60,000 new jobs to Gaithersburg. The redline will service west Baltimore through the CBD connecting many neighborhoods with mass transit to east Baltimore. Which project is more important to Maryland from an economical standpoint?

CCT=projected 43,000 daily ridership
Redline=projected 60,000 daily ridership

CCT=15 miles
Redline= 14.5 miles

CCT=cost $999 million
Redline=cost $1.8 billion

CCT= FTA cost effectiveness $16-$20
Redline= FTA cost effectiveness $22.77

CCT=15 stations
Redline=20 stations

I know many of you know all about the redline but probably don't know anything about the CCT. I will post some pics of where the stations will be

CCT Phase 1 stops in Gaithersburg:

Watkins Mill Town Center 1 stop (Under Construction)

Crown Farm and Existing Washingtonian Center 1 stop (Under Construction)

Fund them both! That's what I want, but I don't know enough about the Red line to choose one over the other.
