I am looking at a job that will require commuting from Annapolis, MD to Overlea and Timonium. What can I expect with regard to rush hour traffic/time? Without traffic it took me 35 minutes to get to Overlea via 895 tunnel? Any other routes recommended with less traffic for rush hour?

The commute from those areas to Annapolis can get hairy if the weather is bad or there is an accident, but I don't know about the opposite commute. I would imagine that the ride from Annapolis on 97 north would be fine, but once you get through the tunnels or the Key Bridge you would then have to take the beltway in order to avoid going through the downtown traffic. And going to Timonium is going to present the bigger problem; not just because it is farther away but because the 695 outer loop on the east side is stop and go during morning rush hours.
