Default Possible job in Rockville...where to live...?

I have a job possibility in Rockville, MD with corporate offices near I-270 and 370 converge. A cursory look at Realtor.com tells me that housing prices in and around Rockville are far higher than what I'm used to and that the job would only end up being a lateral move for me in terms of compensation because of the increased cost of living. I am used to an hour commute each way at present. Is there anything within an hour of the aforementioned location that would be somewhat cheaper...?

Default Where to live - Poolesville

I live in Poolesville and it's great. Small town living away from everything but only 9 miles from Gaithersburg. I use to live by 270 and 370 and it's only about a 15 mins drive to Poolesville. Single Family homes start about 450 and there are a few townhouses there. It's a great place to live and raise a family. Poolesville HS is in the top 2% in the nation.
