Sorry can't help I have only had two dentists in my life one growing up and one here in Columbia. The one in Columbia is Dr. Epstein but hey I have only been with him well over 30 years. PS. I am almost 60 and my teeth are as good as ever.

persimmon is on a distinguished road
You should check out City Place Dental, it is in Silver Spring, and the dentist, Kingsley Achikeh, is very good. He makes sure that you are very comfortable during the procedures, is very nice, and tries to deal with the patient on a personal level, rather than just as "Mr. 11:30 on Saturday". The rooms where he does the procedures are very nice and clean, with big windows and flat screen tvs in every room. He has all of the highest technology appliances. He does not rip you off, even often giving discounts. In one instance, one of my teeth had a deep cavity, and he said that he does not want to do a root canal unless it is necessary, so he put a filling on my tooth, saying that there was about a 60% chance that I would not need a root canal, but if I did he would not charge me for the filling. Check out his website, it is very good. I'm not sure if I can post links as I am new to this forum, but if you google "city place dental" you will be able to find it.

I sound like a commercial for his place, but it is really very good.
