How much $$ per year on Property Tax and House Insurance?

Just curious how much most of you pay for these things for your property in Maryland.

Actual figures would be great! If you don't want to do that, a general ballpark that includes yours is alright too, if you don't mind.

Also, what part of Maryland do you live in?

Home owner's insurance tends to be lower than the national average due to a lack of natural disaster risk. Automobile insurance is much higher. Property taxes are dependant on where you live. They tend to be higher but only because the homes cost more.

Property tax is outrageous in Maryland, and Baltimore City fahget about it! You will pay min of $4,000 in Prince George's Co. for a $250,000 home. As you head down rt 50 taxes are the same but you have safer neighborhoods and more substantial homes. I live in Baltimore County and the average is $2500-3500. Insurance is low, but Auto insurance is high here in all parts if MD.
