There are some tremendous private schools in Annapolis, but the public school system is awful. Anyone living in Annapolis with a child nearing the age of 5 is typically preparing to move to a better school district - unless they can afford private schools. Some of the better school districts somewhat close to Annapolis: Severna Park, Centreville/Stevensville area (Eastern Shore).
What do you mean by "is it safe to do business in Annapolis"? It's a great place to start a business. BRAC (Base Realignment) is coming within the next few years, and the city is exploding with new housing, commercial buildings, businesses, etc. in preparation for the influx of BRAC folks. Hope this helps! |
