Fishermans Inn on Kent Island and dinky little China Fun carryout in Salisbury. Crabcake you ask? Station 7 in Pittsville.

As far as BBQ goes I would highly reccomend Andy Nelson's in cockeysville Md

They have a website you can check out Andy Nelson's Barbecue - Cockeysville, Maryland - Office Catering, Baltimore Barbecue
Just my 2cents
The best bbq that I have found is to make it yourself. I generally like anybody's charcoal grilled ribs, etc better than any restaurant's. My sister tried John McCain's recipe (well, it's more like "tips for good bbq") and said it was actually good. Just google, you should be able to find it.

Mealy's in New Market (near Frederick), they have always had a great brunch and any dinner we have had has always been excellent!

We also like Legal Spirits Crab Soup in Easton. It is just a bar,but they have the best crab soup!
Actually, we have had other lunch items and they have all been pretty good!

Me too! Their food is so good and I love that they use no MSG!

I also really like the Harriman House in Reisterstown.

I like the Portside Restaurant in Cambridge, which has some of the best crabcakes I've had, better than places in Baltimore and Kent Island. Its also located on the waterfront next to the Choptank River so you can easily get a table with a water view.

Afghan place - downtown Baltimore (unique, great quality)
Il Pizzico - Rockville (delicious Italian)

OMG, this is like watching the Sopranos or any Italian movie - I am starving by the 20th frame.
Here are my recommendations from 38 years of central Maryland living -

1) Pines of Rome - Bethesda
2) Sabatino's - Little Italy, Baltimore
3) Fajita Grande - Frederick ( THE BEST MEXICAN FOOD IN FREDERICK, period)
4) Isabella's - Frederick (tapas, Spanish fare)
5) Niwano Hana - Rockville (Japanese/sushi)
6) Woodside Deli - original location is in Silver Spring (another in Germantown)
7) Nido's - Italian in downtown Frederick
8) Original Pancake House - I think this is a chain but it's good for breakfast and is only open I think until 2 PM. (Rockville)
9) Chapala's - mex/salvadorian - Burtonsville
10) Tubby's Diner - right on the PG/MoCo line on 198 in Laurel.
