That's interesting, seeing Frederick and Ellicott City, both frequently coming up on people's Top 5 lists. Not that this is a popularity contest or anything, but just an observation.

I included those two because I love their downtowns. Frederick with it's civil war history and walkable historical district, and Baker Park. EC is tiny in comparison, but I love it's railroad history, and the look of the town by the river is very cool. Visiting family members are always impressed.
