I don't have a personal story, but what I have heard I would stay clear of Aberdeen Schools.

I have a friend that moved there recently and she is not very happy. Her son is in elementary and she is looking for private for middle school. I did so much research on schools before moving. It was my number one priority. I narrowed my search down after looking at all those websites: Great Schools, ect. I wanted a district that had test scores in the 90%.
That being said, I have spoken to people that have moved to Havre De Grace and are happy. I would stay clear of Aberdeen, there are many other options.
