The guy violated court orders but yet he was release. Sometimes I think these judge are in to the same things as these child molestors because they always get probation. They rape children yet they get probation. What the hell is going on.

I'm a home owner in PG County. And, I will admit my tax dollars are not working for me. But, if you are not happy, 95 goes two ways. In this metro area, there is alot of finger pointing. This area is better than.... It may be killings in MD. Maybe you would like to live in maybe VA. Some killings in MD & DC or Child rapists in VA. |

I had to laugh after reading this post! Maryland is overrated for real. I moved away from PG because of the crime and the schools. It's not all bad but the bad areas outweigh the good areas IMO

I was born in (Bethesda) and grew up in Maryland (Montgomery County). I lived there for 35 years and owned two homes there. It was the perfect "suburbia" in the 60's and 70's when I was growing up. Now? Other than it's close proximity to D.C., I can't for the life of me understand why anyone would want to live there, or why they would pay such ridiculous prices to do so. Unless you like the feeling of being part of a huge "crowd" or something, and like bad traffic jams (I-495 Beltway - Yikes!), and also like paying through the nose for suburban sprawl, I don't understand it. I was back in the area just last fall to visit, and I found it down right "scary". I felt like I couldn't breathe. I guess I've been here in Montana too long, but all I could think was "Yuck, get me out of heeere!".

Be a single woman and live here in North Carolina in the South, then you can come talk to me about how great it is. Yes, there is nice scenery and people IN GENERAL.
If you are married and move here, you probably won't notice it, at least not as much. Sexism, chauvinism, racism still runs rampant here. I don't want a man like that....I don't care how "wholesome" he may appear to be. Sure he goes to church, but as soon as he is out the door he still curses, drinks, chews tobacco or smokes, and inevitably mistreats and cheats on his poor wife. Also the definition of "Hypocrite" ! and believe me, I don't throw that word around loosely. No respect for women here except from transplants. I have witnesses all this from 2004-2007 in every class range possible. Men here are either the above described "rednecks", his first cousin, the "beach bum" and extremely wealthy "rednecks" in suits. I choose none of the above Alex. I'm headed back to Maryland! |
