Because them monkeys shotting among each other in mostly the bad area of baltimore city give the whole MD a bad name. If you looking for a scapegoat..blame them LOL....

other than that, places like Frederick is getting swarmed with middle class DC arseholes...that so liberal. "Heard about the statue they wanted to removed"

There are still nice area in MD..dont let the media glorified the monkeys in downtown..

New law..if you shot someone..you should be immediately be punish by death on the spot!

The bottom line, as already stated, is that if Maryland was so terrible the demand for housing wouldnt be as high, so prices would be lower. Let us know when you find Utopia, well be right behind you! Just remember, the grass always appears greener on the other side.

The only reason why the housing is so high and the demand is because most people work for the federal government or a sub of the fed. have you ever noticed on federal holidays there is NO TRAFFIC?? that should tell ya something huh??? And I have found Utopia..I will be leaving in October

OMG, another MD is ghetto post! Please go through the pages of this forum and check out all the other post that are just like this.

When will this arguement ever get old? We have established that all of MD is not ghetto, Expensive yes!

You have not seen ghetto, and you probably do not even know what it really looks like or the true definition of ghetto, so please get over it.

and to myselfdotcom, whom are you calling a monkey because I believe that monkeys were in zoos and could not talk and walk up right. Please pm me and define a monkey and a human being and I will tell you what I think of you.

Maybe a rural environment where the nearest neighbors are 3 miles away defines perfection for you, but not everyone feels the same way. Believe it or not, there are a lot of people who enjoy living in an urban/suburban setting. Dirt roads and corn fields don't appeal to them. Not everyone wants to live in Kansas. Rather than just complaining about how awful Maryland is, why don't you just say that the state no longer appeals to your personal preference and move on? I know many lifelong residents who are quite happy in Maryland, even with all the changes.

No what i define perfection is not a ton of houses on top of each other..yes there are places for that but when people start complaining about manure and stuff because they built their mcmansions ontop of a dairy farm than there is a reason to complain. I grew up where there were cornfields a plenty and now what stands there a bunch of overpriced junk. And I am moving on and I can't wait..My mom is a lifelong resident and she hates it here too and gee lets see my grandmother lived here 102 yrs and hated it as well....

Default Are you serious?

OMG, First of all, you cannot compare some mentally ill person who killed family members to a person who randomly goes out and shoots people. This kind of related crime can happen ANYWHERE.

Try living south of DC and working RIGHT directly above a metro station, now that's what I call a terrorist target.

Who want to see some ghetto? PM me I can bring you over there on the weekend..

MD itself is not a ghetto. Parts of Baltimore City is though. Run downs, boarded rowhomes, projects...they give MD a bad name..hell they give BC a bad name....
Stop wasting money making the inner harbour more beautiful..it's already..allocate the funding to fund schools and police..
Better Education, better work, more ethics and moral less crime...but in the mean time you need police to safeguard the whole deal LOL..

Using monkey as reference is referring them for acting like a damn animal with no civil obedience or any common sense. Who else deserved that title.

the criminals

Who is in the right mind fight over a terroritory that they dont even owned it just ...because they can sell their drugs at that corner. Who is in the right mind do some drive by shotting. Normal human being dont really do that..do you?

I grew up where there were lots of things to do within a short distance and I loved it. You need cornfields to be happy. I don't. Neither does my mother or grandmother. Or do my cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends. There's still plenty of cornfields in this state. Maybe not as many as Iowa or Nebraska, but in case you haven't noticed, Maryland is in the Northeastern Megalopolis! Of course it's not going to have miles and miles of wide open spaces. The capital city of the most powerful country in the world is practically in Maryland. What do you expect? If you think the houses in Maryland are built on top of one another, try going out west to cities like Denver, Phoenix, LA, and Las Vegas. New housing developments there rarely have lots larger than half an acre.

Please, just move already.
