Smile Closing on a House in Cape St. Claire

My wife and I are scheduled to close on a house in Cape St. Claire later in the month of July. We currently have no kids and are in our late 20's. Can anybody offer some advice as to the best restaurants and activities in the area? We keep driving through and discover new things each time. We believe it feels like a great place to start a family. Any comments, suggestions, or input at all is appreciated. Thank you!

My parents have lived there for a number of years and I graduated from Broadneck. There's a lot of fun things to do downtown and Sandy Point State Park is a skip and a jump away.

There are several local restaurants in the Cape. Riverbay Roadhouse and Broadneck Grill are both great and are right in the shopping center.

Red, Hot and Blue, while part of a chain, is basically a locals place too except for when the beach traffic really hits it.

If you are interested in Sports Leagues, I would check out ASSC

Annapolis Sports & Social Club, L.L.C.

Plus there is many lacrosse leagues through Heros.

Hero's Lacrosse

Plenty to do in Annapolis, Kent Island, Baltimore and DC. O'Loughlin's in Bay Hills seems to be the big Restaurant in the "Broadneck Peninsula" a term you'll have to know and love.

Navy Football games are fun, the Chesapeake Bayhawks play in Annapolis, plus there is sailing races every Wednesday Night.

Thank you everyone! My wife loves Zumba, does anyone know of any local classes? We are really excited to close on this house and meet some friends!
