I am wondering what commute times are from Silver Spring --> Greenbelt or College Park --> Greenbelt? Also, any recommended safe, clean apartment complexes in any of these three areas for a single professional female? Price range $1000-1200/mo?

College Park to Greenbelt, depending on which parts, could be 5 minutes, could be 15-20 minutes. Depends on where and how the traffic lights are that day.
Silver Spring to Greenbelt, probably 25-30 minutes.
Why not look in Greenbelt for an apartment? Westchester Park is pretty nice. Stay away from Springhill Lake.
