Default I'm working in D.C...My son is in Randallstown...Where do I live?

So, I'm moving down from Delaware to be a cop in D.C....My ex is moving from Delaware to the Randallstown, MD area (to work in B-more).

Can anyone suggest a good city/area that would put me within a 45 min commute or less to Randallstown, and give me an o.k commute into D.C?

I plan to rent for a bit, but then would ideally like to find somewhere that I could purchase a new-ish townhome for 250-275k. 300k absolute max.

pretty much anywhere in the B'more metro area.
well, pretty much anywhere in the B'more metro area will have pockets that can be called good.

more on the south end... and as close to 95 or 295 as possible.
Look for "Catonsville" and "Relay".

Laurel is basically the half way point between D.C. and Baltimore. 20-25 minutes to either destination. Personally, I'd look in the Catonsville area. Nice area and you get more for your money north of Laurel.
