Is the Elkton area near the bay beaches dog-friendly? Dying to get away for just a couple of days to hang out by the water. Cecil County is an easy drive for me down Route 1. Any feedback would be most appreciated.

Try Elk Neck State Park in North East.

I like resurrecting old threads - Elkton has a brand new DOG PARK - outside of the fenced area is a nice NEW play area for the children, just in case not everyone wants to be inside that dog park.

Enjoy, y'all. Elkton is a lovely town in which to live. Great Location to whatever you want and need.

Worth checking it out.

Home prices have never been lower nor inventory this high.

Look at the HOA Documents or talk to the HOA, don't trust what you find on some internet forum!

Wow...thanks for resurrecting this; forgot I had written it, and MD is one of the states I'm considering in the next couple of years. Would Elkton be a nice, quiet area for a senior (3 dogs) to live? What are the amenities nearby (are there excellent veterinarians and is it a long drive to Johns Hopkins just in case?)
