Question Rock Hall and buying a house

Anyone know much about Rock Hall(Kent County) and how buying a house works?i'm only 21 and have never bought a house before, plus i live in the UK at the moment so anyone i ask doest know about buying a house stateside.questions are as follows:how much of a deposit should i have?price range is 200k-300k, can anyone get a mortgage? does the amount of deposit you put down affect how much you will pay each month? If i had $20k to put down?how does the rent-to-own scheme work?and anything else i should know?how much can house prices be expected to rise in the next 5 years?

Rock Hall is a really nice area. Beautiful place. It is rural. If you want a home they will get you in there. There are so many programs available for home loans. Having a down payment should help in your monthly costs.
