Commuting from Eldersburg to DC? (Olney: find a job, buses, public transportation)

Does anyone commute from southern Carroll County to DC? Is there any public transportation (I know the MARC doesn't stop here, but commuter buses?) that goes there? If you drive, how do you go and how long does it take you? I am trying to figure out whether it's worth trying to find a job in DC or whether the commute would be prohibitive. Thanks.

I don't think any of the commuter buses go that way. I've driven the route before, and you're looking at around an hour to Olney, then another 45-60 minutes into DC, or 25-30 min on Metro out of Glenmont.
