Question Smithsville - Cavetown - Looking for Land on Wolfsville Rd

I am looking for ancestors and their land. They used to live (and had an orchard) in Cavetown, MD (Or somewhere VERY near) Their last name was STEPHEY. They were my Great Great Great Grandparents.

I have a deed that gives me some idea where to look for their Orchard or home....
Some land that they owned (maybe the orchard???) was located on Wolfsville Road between Smithsburg and Wolfsville. It was in Washington County. Going South on Wolfsville Rd it changes to Frederick County where Garfield road comes in. So it would be North of that. It says it was called Mountain Prospect. Neighboring land was owned by the Brunner family. It was bought by a Stephey in 1866 from a Ridenour and THEY had bought it from a David and Ann Winters in 1865. It also references a Frederick road as well but I can't find that on a map.

Also, I have some OLD photos and one says MILLER PARK on it. On a map I can't find a Miller Park. Do you know of one in your area? Also, these photos from the turn of the century (not the most recent one!) show a town with dirt roads and WOODEN sidewalks. Do you know of anyone who might be interested in helping me determine just where they were taken?

If you know of an Historical Society could you either pass that information on to me or forward this to someone there? I'd like to share my photos with the town they are from.

My G G G Grandmother Margaret Stephey is buried in the Cavetown church cemetary. My "Aunt Irene" used to live across the street and then my Grandmother bought the place from her.

Thanks for any help you can give

Diane
