Default Shopping Malls in Maryland

Which shopping mall in Md. is the most ritzy? Which is the dumpiest?

By shopping malls, I mean: "A shopping center with stores and businesses facing a system of enclosed walkways for pedestrians."

Many thanks for your input.

Most ritzy, I'd say White Flint in Montgomery County.

Most dumpy, lots of choices here: I'd say Landover Mall, Westview Mall, Mondawmin Mall, Security Mall, Iverson Mall, Laurel Mall (should be better after it's been renovated), Reisterstown Road Plaza.

I'm sure others will add..

Landover Mall isn't open anymore. The only store thats still in business is Sears. I'm pretty sure the rest of the mall got torn down. Same with Capital Plaza in Landover Hills.

Pg county is developing all the malls in Pg county. Laurel and Landover are the first to get develope and so is Pg mall in Hyattsville.

My favorite mall is Montgomery mall
The worst mall ever for me is City Place in Montgomery county. This mall have no stores nothing is in the mall to even shop. this mall is the only mall I can go to and not spend a dollar.

My favorite mall is.... mmm help me out guys. The one with the Egyptian Movie Theatre on the outside? with the medival times? ... Arundel Mills mall I think? It was the biggest one I've been to yet, the most stores, the most food, the most people, the most normal and respectable as far as people went.

Here recently until about a month ago, I stopped going to it all together, as well as members of my family, after being assaulted just outside the Food Court by a couple of men. The security there I'm sure has a tough job running herd on so many prospective criminal-looking shoppers... but they sure could've done more when I tried to file a report against them for the whole episode. Now I stick to the Annapolis Mall!! Nice, smaller, closer to home.. I got the grand 20 cent tour by my little brother when I came back, up to and including the "guard post" just outside the parkinglot entrance where someone was allegedly shot during the James Bond movie. They're in the movies listening to the gunshots and police sirens... nobody expected to exit the theatre into a crime scene!! (he's very proud of being there when it happened) lol !!

PGC301, sorry, forgot Landover was closed. I just remember how bad it was back in the 90's.

The Mall in Columbia is nice. It has the popular chain stores and I think the anchors are Lord & Taylors, Macy's, Penny's and Sears. They've got a P.F. Chang's and Cheesecake Factory which are also at White Flint.

IDK...to me the most ritzy mall in this area is over in VA.

C.

I've also heard there's a lot of crime around the Arundel Mills mall. I only go there in broad daylight!
