Default Montgomery Village MD -- what kind of place

I moved to the DC area recently (commute to downtown DC on the Red Line) and am considering buying a house in Montgomery Village (it's a 30 year old townhouse priced just under 400k). I don't however know too much about the neighborhood and the community -- can anybody please point me to resources about the neighborhood -- people, lifestyle options, crime, schools, commute options, property values, etc. -- or share your own experiences?

Exactly what part of the village are you looking at?

Default Montgomery Village -- address

Unfortunately, I'm not terribly familiar with the area but the address says 'Duffer Way' -- the other property is on Arrowhead Rd. Does that help at all?

Default Mcps

The MCPS school system is NOT a good system. They are very good at smoke and mirrors. BEWARE. I have 2 children. I am a former MCPS teacher. I know teach for a private school in Montgomery county. Both of my children attend private school.

The administration is great at cover ups.
