I got stuck in Salisbury for about 7-8 months and here are some things I remember about the area:

Chicken catchers from Purdue. They looked and acted just like chickens. I guess catching chickens all day will do that to you.

Getting into a brawl at the Cactus Club.

Enjoying tax free shopping in DE.

Not liking Ocean City after a while. What'd they call it in the summer? Oh yeah, the redneck riviera! Not sure if it deserved that title but I witnessed fights every time I was there ( late night of course ), lots of destruction to public property, etc. One of the coolest things in ocean city was the ability to order drinks while being in the ocean. Awesome nightlife for the 30 under crowd, or 40 under if you don't want to grow up.

Generally speaking, the low cost of living. Lots of great places to eat.

Overall, a nice place to live. Different, but nice.
