Question Clarksburg Village

Hey does anyone out there live in Clarksburg, particularly Clarksburg Village. If so, can you give me some info about the town and the development. What is the race makeup of this area. Do people get along with most races?. How far is Clarksburg from D.C. and Baltimore? Is there a metro? Shopping malls. Also about how much are people paying for real estate taxes in this area. What about electricity and gas. I head the rates were raised about 70%, is this true? Any info will be appreciated.

Clarksburg seems a bit exclusive to me, with really high priced homes. They have a lot of MANSIONS out that way, actually. You definately need a car to live there. No metro.

ummmm...what do you mean no metro? There are many bus lines that run throughout the day & cabs 24 hours a day. As for the real estate I havnt lived there for almost 10 years so I cant give any info on that. Not sure if I can do this and if not sorry moderator...but here is a link for the stats as of 2000 census (latest info I can find).

No metro as in no subway. I'm sure Howard County has buses that run out there.
