We are looking at townhomes in King's Contrivance as it's the best fit for our commute and also the school zone isn't bad (hammond and Atholton zones).

Anyway, a friend suggested "away from clocktower ln", Anything wrong with that small circle? So far we looked at several places in the neighborhood, such as eden brook dr behine village center, early spring way (close to the clock tower ln), stone brook dr (close to brokenland pkwy).

Should I avoid any place if I can? Hope for some inputs.

Thanks a lot.

I'm only guessing, but some houses built in the 80's had blue or grey water intake pipes which ruptured underground. There was a class action suit about it. We had to replace ours with a copper line, after it ruptured twice.

Other than that, is there a common attic with no firewalls between the houses? I though the code had changed by the late 80's to prohibit that feature. In any case, a good home inspection should catch issues like this.

Whatever your friend believes is wrong with Clocktower Circle apparently isn't common knowledge on this forum.

How about the area close to Broken land and Guiford intersection? Looks like it's away from the apartments in KC. Too close to the main road (noisy) maybe.

If you are talking about the townhouses off Early April Way, I lived there close to 20 years ago and graduated from Hammond HS. They were old, and some very unkempt then. I can't imagine that area has gotten BETTER, but like I said, it's been years.
